The weighted, chrome-plated handle is precisely balanced for better control of impact force. Full-perimeter grip tape with pin securely holds the triangular head halfway between the tip and base. The handle also features a pointed tip and brush to elicit cutaneous and plantar reflexes. The triangular thermoplastic rubber head features a beveled tip and base to elicit myotonic reflexes. 

The soft base and rounded tip are ideal for precise application to tendons to elicit myotonic responses. It is also suitable for detecting chest sounds and tapping the abdomen.
